Alper Cavus (Film, Fotografie und Grafikdesign)
Alper Cavus, als Sohn türkischer Eltern am 16.10.1982 in Bremen geboren, hat in der Vergangenheit bereits an verschiedenen Film und Fotoprojekten mitgewirkt, unter anderem an ARD Produktionen des „Tatorts“.
Die Arbeit an diesen Projekten weckte seine Leidenschaft und brachten ihn im Herbst 2006 an die Hochschule für Künste in Bremen. Seine Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Film, Fotografie und Grafikdesign.
Seit Sommer 2008 unterstützt er durch kreative Zusammenarbeit „EachOneTeachOne“. Gemeinsam mit Raoul Pilcicki arbeitete er in diesem Jahr erstmals an der Planung und Umsetzung eines Musikvideos.
Zudem ist Alper Cavus für die fotografische Dokumentation verantwortlich. Die gute Zusammenarbeit führt ihn im Herbst 2008 nach Kapstadt, wo ein weiteres Musikvideo produziert werden soll. Mit Raoul Pilcicki zusammen arbeitet er außerdem an einem Film für das Schweizer Fernsehen, in dem es um eine Gruppe junger, klassischer Musiker geht.

Alper Cavus, as a son of Turkish parents, born 1982 in Bremen. In the past years, he already participated in different film and photo projects, such as broadcasting productions of the "Tatort".
Working on these projects, Alper's passion woke up and made him study film, photography and graphics at the University of the Arts in Bremen in 2006.
In the summer 2008, he started to participate in the "EachOneTeachOne"-projects. Together with Raoul Pilcicki, he was responsible for the shooting of the "Bürger dieser Welt"-music video and its production.
Furthermore, Alper Cavus is working on the photographic documentation of EOTO's trips and projects. This good co-operation makes him travel to cape town this year, where a further music video is going to be produced. As well as Raoul, again, Alper is working on a documentary film about a group of young, classical musicians, which is planned to be placed in swiss television.

Liza Kis (Soziale Arbeit Studentin & Helping Hand)
Auch die 19- Jährige Liza Kis wird im Oktober die EOTO in Kapstadt unterstützen. Seit kurzem lebt die Soziale Arbeits-Studentin in Münster. Doch in ihrer Heimatstadt Bremerhaven ist sie Mitglied der Fishtown Falken, einer politisch engagierten Jugendgruppe, welche sich offen für kosmopolitisches Denken und Handeln und internationale Gerechtigkeit ausspricht. Im Rahmen dieser lokalen und Kontinente übergreifenden Jugendarbeit traf sie auf Anne Schmeckies und ihre Arbeit.
Nun freut sich Liza selbst ein Teil dieser Arbeit in Südafrika sein zu dürfen.

She recently moved to Munster to study social work, but in her hometown Bremerhaven she is still a member of a political involved youthgroup called Die Falken. This group argues openly for cosmopolitan thoughts and actions and also for international fairness. Within this local and continents overlapping youthwork Liza met Anne Schmeckies and got to know her work. Now Liza enjoys beeing a part of this work in South Africa, too.

Raoul Pilcicki (Film, Photografie, Illustration, Typography)
Raoul Pilcicki begleitet EOTO seit 2007. Geboren 1986, lebt er in Bremen und studiert dort an der Hochschule für Künste Informationsdesign in den Bereichen Film, Fotografie, Illustration, Typografie. Unter anderem befasst er sich seit nunmehr 10 Jahren auf verschiedene Weisen mit dem Medium "HipHop", vornehmlich auf dem Gebiet des Graffiti.
Projekte in den verschiedenen Bereichen seiner Arbeit führten und führen ihn durch Europa und dessen Grenzen hinaus - so wird er wie Ivanka und Alper auch diesen Oktober mit in Kapstadt sein, und an einem Musikvideo für EOTO arbeiten. Raoul arbeitet bei den Projekten mit den anderen Mitgliedern in unterschiedlicher Konstellation zusammen. Wenn sich ein ein roter Faden durch seine Arbeit zieht, dann ist es wohl die Ansicht, dass Grenzen fließend sind.
Neben vielen anderen Projekten plant er derzeit an einer Graffitidokumentation unter typografischen Aspekten, die im kommenden Jahr gedreht werden soll, und arbeitet an einem Film für das Schweizer Fernsehen, in dem es um eine Gruppe junger, klassischer Musiker und deren Verhältnis zum Komponisten Johannes Brahms geht. Denn auch Brahms ist HipHop.

In 2007, Raoul Pilcicki joined the EOTO-project. The 22-year old now lives Bremen studiying visual communication at the University of the Arts, focussed on film, fotography, illustration and typography.
Next to all this, Raoul has been concerning with hiphop - especially with graffiti - for 10 years, now. He is working in lots of different projects, which also differ regarding their focus and motivation, and which made and make him travel through Europe and beyond its borders, as well.
In October, he will, same as Ivanka and Alper, travel to Capetown in order to work on a musicvideo for EOTO. If there is any constant value in Raouls work, then it is the idea that there is no such thing as an irremovable border, when it comes to the process of creative working. That is also why the constellations of the groups he is part of are changing from project to project.
At present, he is planning to make a documentary film about graffiti based on typographic aspects. It will be shot the upcoming year. Next to this and next to a big amount of other projects, he is working on a film about young classical musicians and their relationship to the composer Johannes Brahms. Because Brahms is hiphop, too.

Ivanka Klein (Ethnologie-Studentin & Helping Hand)
Ivanka Klein ist das neueste Mitglied der Each One Teach One-Crew und wird im Oktober erstmalig mit nach Kapstadt reisen, um für tatkräftige Unterstützung zu sorgen. Die 25-Jährige lebt seit sechs Jahren in Köln und studiert seit 2003 Ethnologie, Anglistik und Geographie an der Universität zu Köln. Anders als der Rest der Crew wird sie für gute zwei Monate in Kapstadt bleiben und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, dort eine Feldforschung für ihre Magisterarbeit in Ethnologie durchzuführen.
Die Hip-Hop-Szene in Kapstadt soll Thema ihres akademischen Abschlusses werden. Mit Hilfe von Interviews und Beobachtungen vor Ort möchte sie die Entwicklung, das Netzwerk der Akteure sowie Inhalte und Werte des Hip-Hop als wichtige Jugendkultur in Kapstadt ausmachen. Umso besser, dass sie so ihre Leidenschaft für die Hip-Hop Kultur, die sie seit früher Jugend begleitet, mit ihrem Studium verbinden kann. Auch verfügt sie über ausreichend Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kindern, was ihr bei den Workshops sicher zugute kommt. Nach ihrem Abitur arbeitete sie zwei Monate an einer Freizeitmaßnahme für Kinder mit und 2004 engagierte sie sich neben dem Studium zwei Jahre im Kinder- und Jugendzentrum Glashütte Porz in der Übermittagsbetreuung mit den Porzer Kids.
2006 kam dann der Einstieg in die Medienlandschaft mit einem Nebenjob im Programmvertrieb des WDR. Darauf folgte 2007 der aktuelle Job im Archiv der Kölner Produktionsfirma I & U TV. Darüber hinaus belegte sie einige Journalistenkurse an der Uni und verfolgte damit ihr Interesse für das journalistische Schreiben.

Ivanka Klein is the latest member of the EachOneTeachOne-Crew and is going to travel first-time to Capetown to support the project.
The 25-year old is living in Cologne for six years and studying Cultural Anthropology, English and Geography at the University of Cologne. Unlike the rest of the Crew she is going to stay for more than two month in Capetown and has set herself the target to do a fieldwork for her thesis in Cultural Anthropologie.
The Hip-Hop-Scene in Capetown is supposed to be the issue of her thesis. By means of interviews and participating study on the ground she wants to figure out the development, the network of artists and the meaning, content and values of Hip-Hop as a fundamental youthculture in Capetown. So much the better that she is able to connect her passion for the Hip-Hop-Culture which she has developed in her early youth with her studies. She also has a rich sum of experiences in the working with kids, which might be very helpful for the workshops. After her school leaving examination she worked two month in a leissure event for kids in 2002 and in 2004 she got involved with a child care programm in the youth centre Glashütte in Porz/Cologne and worked there for two years in addition to her studies.
In 2006 she got access to the world of media when working at the public broadcast station WDR in Cologne. After that she entered her current job in the archive of the TV production-company I&U TV. Additionally she cultivated her interest for journalism in a couple of journalism-courses at university.

Big LeBasti (MC & Songwriter)
Big LeBasti aka Sebastian Bosum wird 1984 in Bremen geboren. Stand am Anfang noch Sport auf seinem Plan, wird durch den Einfluss seines fünf Jahre älteren Bruders Flomega sein Interesse zur Musik geweckt. Ab 1997 gilt dem Rap die volle Aufmerksamkeit... Und Malen ...und Breakdance ... und Gitarre....und Gesang... und ...!
Bis 2002 heißt es intensives Üben (heißt es heute noch). Verschiedene Formationen durchlaufen die Zeitspanne von fünf Jahren.
Eine Gruppe hat Bestand! Mit der DJ/Rap/ Breakdance Crew "Twice As Nice" kreieren die vier Jungs immer wieder neue und experimentelle Shows.
Das bringt sie sogar an den Punkt, dass sie 2005 mit Mitgliedern der Bremer Philhamonika einmusikalisches und tänzerisches Projekt auf die Beine stellen.
Das Programm heißt "HipHop Meets Klassik" und ist und war ein voller Erfolg.
Zahlreiche Auftritte pflastern BigLeBastis Weg. Sämtliche Vororte, Klein- und Großstädte Deutschlands werden abgegrast. In den letzten vier Sommern nimmt er einem internationalem Antirassismusmeeting in Cecina/Italien teil. Dort gibt er Graffiti- und Breakdance Workshops.
Seit Anfang 2005 tourt er als Mitglied der Liveband "Flowin´Immo et les Freaqz" als Backgroundsänger durch Deutschland.
Eine prägende Zeit für seine musikalische Laufbahn.
In Zusammenarbeit mit Jari Klang aka Bruno Garage entstanden in den letzten Jahren im Baumstudio zu Bremen wunderbare Songs.

Big LeBasti aka Sebastian Bosum is born in 1984 in Bremen. Whereas he is initially caught up in sports, he develops an interest in music through the influence of his 5-year older brother (Flomega). From 1997 onwards, he's all caught up in rap... and painting ...and breakdance ... and guitar....and singing... and ...!
A period of intensive practice follows until 2002 (and still, today). Different formations come and go in a 5 year timespan.
One group has persisted! With the DJ/rap/breakdance crew "Twice As Nice", the four lads keep creating new and experimental shows.
This brings them to the point where, in 2005, they organize a music and dance project together with members of the Bremer Philharmonic.
The program is called "HipHop Meets Klassik" and is a great success.
Numerous performances pave BigLeBasti`s way. Countless German suburbs, villages and cities are toured. Over the last four summers, he participates in an anti-racism meeting in Cecina/Italy. There, he gives graffiti and breakdance workshops.
Since early 2005, he tours through Germany as a member of the live band "Flowin´Immo et les Freaqz", doing background vocals.

Mr.XXII And The Voodoos (Art Direction & Network)
Angespornt vom „Reclaime the City“-Anspruch urbaner Straßenkünstler machte sich Björn Rausch im Auftrag der XXII im Jahre 2005 auf den Weg von den Strassen Europas ins Büro nebenan. Dosen und Marker wurden domestiziert und mutierten zu persönlichen digitalen Ideengebern. Die Wörter „entweder, oder“ sind aus dem Wortschatz verbannt, es gibt nur noch das „und“. Es wird kombiniert, was nicht zusammen ist, aber gehört. Dieses Motto gibt auch die Motivation für die Reise der EOTO-Crew nach Kapstadt vor.
Ob Gestaltung auf Wänden, Flyern, Stickern, T-Shirts, Postern, CD´s, Fotos, Webseiten und Gottes grüner Wiese, die XXII steht für innovative Gestaltung, die die subkulturelle Bodenhaftung nicht verliert.

Inspired by the "Reclaim the City“ approach of urban street artists and on behalf of XXII, in 2005 Björn Rausch started out a journey from the roads of Europe into the offices next door. Cans and markers were domesticated and mutated into personal digital idea-generators. The words 'either or' are banned from the vocabulary, there is only the 'and'. That which is not together but belongs together is combined. This catch-phrase also forms the motivation for the EOTO-crew's trip to Cape Town.
Whether it be design on walls, flyers, stickers, t-shirts, posters, CDs, photos, websites and god's green pastures, the XXII represents innovative design, which doesn't lose its subcultural base.

Phax Mulder (DJ & Producer)
Deejaying und Musikproduktion sind die Aufgabengebiete des Phax Mulder, EOTO Mitglied seit dem ersten Tage.
Sein sonniges Gemüt, als auch die wohl von Gott persönlich gegebene Gabe, gut mit der Zunge schnalzen zu können, öffneten ihm viele Türen. Ein großer Freundeskreis und viele parallel laufende Projekte sprechen eine Sprache für sich.
Nachdem er vor ein paar Jahren seine Karriere als Graffiti Künstler mit dem Prädikat "Intensivtäter" beenden musste, sattelte er auf die Musik um. Er veröffentlichte auf Antifunk Records, war als Veranstalter von Rapkonzerten tätig und tingelt als HipHop DJ durch die Welt.
Mit seiner Crew "Twice As Nice" und den Bremer Phillharmonikar brachten sie das altehrwürdige Bremer Konzerthaus "Die Glocke" zum brennen.
Im Sommer gibt er Graffiti Workshops in Cecina/Italien.
Er war schon letztes Jahr bei der "Make Love Not Aids" Aufklärungstour mit in Kapstadt dabei und produzierte auch die in Auroville/Indien entstandene "PAX Project" CD.
Damit hat er gut vorgelegt. Das gilt es jetzt zu übertreffen !

Deejaying and producing music are the main occupations of Phax Mulder, an EOTO member from day one.
Through his sunny outlook, and his god-given gift of clicking his tongue, many doors were opened to him. A wide circle of friends and many parallel running projects speak for themselves.
After he had to end his career as a graffiti artists a few years ago, carrying the label "Intensivtäter", he switched to music. He published at Antifunk Records, was active as organizer for rap concerts and gigs around the world as a HipHop DJ.
With his "Twice As Nice" crew and the Bremer Philharmonic, they set alight the traditional Bremer concert hall "Die Glocke".
In the summer, he gives graffiti workshops in Cecina/Italia.
He already participated in last year's "Make Love Not Aids" educational tour in Cape Town, and also produced the "PAX Project" CD created in Auroville/India.
He put on a good performance with that. So now let's surpass that!
